Up Close with the Hudson River! View a Private Collector's Vast Hudson River School of Art Collection in Fishkill, NY; then Experience a 3-hour Hudson River Boat Tour, Viewing Some of the Vistas Captured by the Hudson River School Artists

The Hudson River School of Art is a truly American school of Art, finding its inspiration in American Landscapes during the mid-19th Century. While the landscapes ranged from agricultural to wilderness, from realistic, very detailed to romanticized views of nature, the Hudson River and its surrounding environment was a large source of inspiration.
This Auction item offers the opportunity for your group of up to 6 people to view Rob and Sue Doyle’s private Hudson River School of Art Collection in Fishkill and then, on another day, join Captain Rob Doyle (he is a man of many skills) for a three-hour Hudson River boat tour from White’s Marina in New Hamburg, viewing some of the vistas captured by the Hudson River School of Artists.
The Doyle’s lifetime collection numbers over fifty framed examples by many different 19thC Hudson River landscapes painters. You and your guests will get to view, learn, and have ample opportunity to ask questions about paintings of particular interest. Plan for visiting the collection for up to three hours.
Then arrange a departure from White’s Marina New Hamburg, NY for an enjoyable time on the "River of Destiny" with Captain Rob Doyle on a 24' 2022 Monterey M4 boat - "Hudson Views." Bring your friends, snacks and a camera. Co-ordinate your excursion and choose the time and date. You can go out in the morning, afternoon or for a sunset cruise. Guaranteed nice weather or reschedule at no charge! The Winner of this auction will receive contact information from the WHS office, and you’ll be able to arrange the dates with Rob Doyle of Hudson Views Tours, to be scheduled between June and September 2025.

The vision for my chair design is a collage highlighting some of the most iconic locations and buildings in the heart of the Village of Wappingers Falls. The village is a large inspiration to my work, and is where my wife Nicole and I have decided to open our gallery, MADLOVE Front Porch Art Gallery, located at 17 S Remsen Avenue Wappingers Falls NY 12590. Created by Chris Morris, 2025.
