The Wappingers Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Town of Wappinger, the Village of Wappingers Falls and neighboring communities, and to maintain the custodianship of the Mesier Homestead. You can support the WHS by becoming a member. Doing so helps us preserve and expand our archives, collections and library to actively chronicle the life of our hamlets, village and town for future generations. Our public programs and exhibits allow people of all ages to better understand their connection to history as we safeguard and share our architectural heritage and history of the 1741 Mesier Homestead.

Benefits of membership include free admission to Speaker Series lectures; a 10% discount in the Mesier Homestead Gift Shop; and invitations to member-only events such as the Potluck Picnic in July, Ice Cream Social in August, and the Holiday Party in December.

Joining the Wappingers Historical Society is easy. To pay by credit card, click on the "Join or Renew " button below and select the type of membership that you want from the dropdown menu. Then click "next" to provide your contact information. Finish the "checkout" process and you are done​! A 4% credit card processing fee is added to all membership levels so that 100% of your membership dues goes to support the Society. 

 

 

 

 

 

If you prefer to pay by check to avoid the processing fee, or in person by cash, that's great!  Just click on the "Membership Application Form" button below, print out the form and mail the completed form with your check. Or, you can call us at 845-632-1281 to arrange a good time to bring the form and your payment to the Mesier Homestead in person. You do not need to fill in the Membership form if you are selecting the Credit Card option for payment. Please do not send cash in the mail.
