If you've visited our website in the recent past, you probably know that while it did some things well, it really wasn't up to the task of being able to serve our Society's members or our historian friends. Today, we're really excited to kick off a whole new website. In addition to having a bright new look, we can do things we've never done before.
Interactive forms - you can now do lots of things online - such as becoming a member of the Wappingers Historical Society, volunteer your time, make a donation, or to ask for some research to be done on a historical question that you have. We've also stepped into the 21st century in our ability to now take credit cards. You can put your checkbook away, we've made things easier for you.
More information - we've added lots of new articles and sections and have made picture and postcard viewing much easier with much more information on each item.
On-line store - For our local friends, it's not a big drive to come into our (all new) gift shop, located in the same room that Peter Mesier had his shop a very long time ago. However, recognizing that so many people are very busy or have moved away from the Hudson Valley, we now offer an online Gift Shop as a part of our website. Stop into our virtual world and browse though our many locally tied products. Our collection of items are great both as gifts, or if you are just treating yourself.

The new website is built with change and evolution in mind, so we will be on a path of continuous improvement as we go, but we need your help to get there!
