DUE TO THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING, THIS PROGRAM WILL NOW BE HELD ON OUR RAIN DATE OF SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15th.  Tour times remain the same.  Tickets are transferrable. 

Presented by Dani Masterson in collaboration with the Wappingers Historical Society.  In this new living history tour, you’ll be guided through the Wappingers Rural Cemetery to meet some notable persons buried there and hear their stories. Costumed apparitions include Clinton Clapp; Rev. Dr. George B. Andrews; James Orr and Clayton Emmett Sweet of Sweet-Orr fame; Reginald W. Rives; Thirza Winter Bate, survivor of the Lusitania; and others. 

Afternoon and evening tour times are 2:30, 3:15, 6:00, 6:45, 7:30 , 8:00 and newly added 8:30pm.  Rain date is Sunday, October 15th. Each tour group size is limited,  ages 12 and over, please. Due to the uneven terrain in the cemetery, it may be difficult for people with mobility challenges to participate in this event.  Evening tours will be guided by lantern, but please feel free to bring along a flashlight if you'd like.  

Tickets are available online only and are non-refundable.  No tickets will be available at the door. Rain date is Sunday, October 15th.   Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour to allow time to park, check-in and gather with your group.  Special thanks to the Wappingers Rural Cemetery, County Players  and Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home for their involvement and support.
