About the event

Ten years ago John DiDomizio, lifetime member of the Wappingers Historical Society, entertained us with his presentation on the history of Clinton Point and Stoneco covering the time period from 1609 to 1919.  In a new presentation, he will present some  of his older material as well as his latest findings about the stone quarry along the banks of the Hudson River and what preceded it -- the Italian immigrant community once known as Stoneco.

This informative and  interesting event is part of our Speaker Series programming. The public is invited to attend. WHS member admission is free, non-member suggested donation of $5.00. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and is on a first come/first serve basis.  Please RSVP to help us plan attendance and to be added to our mailing list. (please note, an RSVP does not save you a seat).
