Open year-round (with heating / air conditioning!)  We are very pleased to offer you an opportunity to tour the Mesier Homestead privately, in your own group. The Mesier Homestead Signature Experience weekday private tours are available Tuesday - Friday, anytime between 10:00am - 3:00pm,  presented by volunteers from the Wappingers Historical Society.   We ask that reservations be made at least 2 business days in advance to ensure adequate staffing.  Generally, one tour opportunity per day. Please complete the RSVP registration form with your preferred days and times and we will get in touch with you to confirm. Only confirmed reservations will be honored. Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate walk-ins at this time. The cost  for private tours is $10 per adult, $5 per child between the ages of 7-18,  Please allow 1 1/2 hours for a complete visit. Our Signature Experience  tours allow you to focus on items and topics that are of interest to you.  You will able to converse with the guide, ask questions, take your time looking at the exhibits.  For example, depending on your group's interest, we can focus on areas such as Victorian lifestyle, clothing, Presidential connections to the Wappinger area, or you can request the youth tour designed to engage and interact with young people, helping them to discover what life was like in times long ago.  Simply put, our Signature Experience  tour allows you to customize your visit with us, taking the time to explore what is of interest to you.
