About the event
If you didn't have a chance to visit the Mesier Homestead before Christmas, no worries -- we're open one more day during the holiday season! Stop in to see the beautifully decorated downstairs rooms of the 1741 Mesier Homestead, complete with candlelight, greenery, ribbons and bows. Self-guided. A docent will be available to welcome you and answer your questions about the Homestead. Free admission. No reservations are necessary.
The gift shop will also be open. Located near the room where Peter Mesier had his store in 1777, we offer items of interest to history buffs as well as people who just love our area. All proceeds benefit the Wappingers Historical Society in their mission to preserve and promote the history of the Wappinger area.
