February Mesier Homestead Tour Day

Yes, we are open in the winter!  The entire downstairs of the Homestead is fully heated and very comfortable, so come in out of the cold and visit us!  

Talk a walk back in time as you tour this 1741 home of the original settlers of the area that is now the Village of Wappingers Falls. In honor of President's Day, tours on this day will feature information on the special relationship the Homestead's first occupants had with General Washington's Army during the Revolutionary War, as well as various connections certain places within the  Village and Town of Wappingers had with sitting Presidents.  

Docent led tours of the Mesier Homestead will take place on Sunday, February 16th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Tours take place every 1/2 hour beginning at 1pm. The last tour departs at 3:30pm.    After the tour, visit our Gift Shop, which features local history books, work by local artists, a selection of children's items and gifts.  

In the event of inclement weather, an announcement will be made on our Facebook page and the tour day will be rescheduled to Sunday, February 23rd.
